Anthony Eden "Tony"  Cooper
Anthony Eden Cooper, age 76 of Cornelia, passed away Tuesday, August 28, 2018.

Born in Cranston, Rhode Island on February 25, 1942, he was a son of the late Lucius A. Cooper & Carol Butterfield Holmes. Mr. Cooper was a graduate of Central Florida Community College where he received an Associate of Science degree in Radiation Protection. He was formerly employed by Southwest Indiana Regional Youth Village as a counselor and mentor. Mr. Cooper was a veteran serving in both the United States Navy and United States Coast Guard Auxilary. He was an avid lover of history who also enjoyed bowling, music, reading and writing poetry.

Surviving are sons and daughter-in-law, Christopher & Kate Cooper, Thackary Cooper, all of Florida; granddaughter, Evelyn Cooper; brother, Chester Holmes of New York; sisters, Carolyn Cooper of Florida and Deidre Richefort of New York; special friend, Robin Caldwell & family.

Mr. Cooper’s wishes were to be cremated and no formal services are planned.
